My TIP

The cable car is (especially in summer) very busy and you can wait up to 2 hours. If you like to walk, walk to the top of Petřín. The walk takes about half an hour and you can explore the entire Petřín Park with its beautiful views of Prague.

  • One ride costs 60 CZK. If you have a ticket for 24 or 72 hours in Prague, it's included.

Explore Petrin funicular

The Petřín funicular, also known as Lanová dráha Petřín - Újezd, is a charming little railway in Prague that connects the Malá Strana district with the top of Petřín hill. It's like a cute little train ride that takes you up to a beautiful viewpoint with stunning views of the city. The funicular operates daily from 9 am to 11:30 pm, so you can hop on whenever you feel like taking a scenic ride up the hill. It's a fun and convenient way to explore Prague and enjoy some lovely views along the way!
