Cubist building in Prague

Message from Katarína Lepšíková

The House of the Black Madonna, also known as Dům U Černé Matky Boží in Czech, is a cool cubist building in Prague designed by Josef Gočár. It's got a café on the first floor and houses the Museum of Czech Cubism on the upper floors. Built in 1912, it's named after a baroque sculpture of a Black Madonna that used to be there. After some renovations and damage over the years, it was fully restored in 2003 and now showcases Czech cubism art and culture.
