Prepare to be humbled by the sheer scale of Tōdai-ji. As you wander through Nara Park, the immense wooden structure of the Great Buddha Hall, one of the largest in the world, will slowly reveal itself. Step inside, and you'll find yourself in the presence of the Daibutsu, a colossal bronze Buddha statue that has watched over Nara for centuries. The atmosphere is one of serene grandeur, and you can even try to squeeze through a pillar with a hole the size of the Buddha's nostril for a bit of fun and good luck.
