IT🇮🇹 Altra tappa imperdibile del BIg Sur è la cascata McWay. È situata nel Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, alta poco più di 20 metri e cade direttamente nell'oceano quando la marea è alta. Per raggiungere il punto panoramico da cui osservare la cascata occorre parcheggiare l'auto nell'apposito parcheggio (a pagamento) e proseguire a piedi verso l'imbocco del sentiero McWay Falls Overlook Trail. Il percorso è lungo poco più di 1 km e il panorama che si aprirà davanti è davvero magnifico. Consiglio una visita nel pomeriggio perchè al mattino la zona è in ombra.

EN🇬🇧 Another unmissable stop on BIg Sur is the McWay waterfall. It is located in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, just over 20 meters high and falls directly into the ocean when the tide is in. To reach the panoramic point from which to observe the waterfall, you need to park your car in the dedicated parking lot (for a fee) and continue on foot towards the entrance to the McWay Falls Overlook Trail. The route is just over 1 km long and the panorama that will open up in front of you is truly magnificent. I recommend a visit in the afternoon because in the morning the area is in the shade.
