Il Salton Sea, il lago più grande della California creato dalla mano dell'uomo all'inizio del 900, è passato dall'essere un'affascinante meta turistica negli anni '60 al luogo tossico e abbandonato che vediamo oggi. Bombay Beach was one of the best known beach resorts in the area. Today, the eerie abandoned buildings and bizarre works of art offer a unique glimpse into an otherwise forgotten world. It can be creepy, but it's definitely worth a visit.
