Stoosbahn is a Swiss mountain railway system that offers breathtaking views and convenient transportation for visitors looking to explore the Stoos region. It is the steepest funicular railway in Europe with a gradient of 110% With its modern funicular and cable car services, Stoosbahn makes it easy for tourists to access hiking trails, ski slopes, and charming alpine villages.

You need to take this funicular to access the village of Stoos in order to proceed to the Stoos Ridge Hike. If you would like to use the Klingenstock or Fronalpstock lifts to access the ridgeline, make sure to tell the salesperson at the ticket window. This will allow your single ticket to access all lifts.
