If you're looking for more adventure, you can extend the hike past the famous lake Bondhusvatnet to reach the Bondhusbreen glacier tongue, which feeds the lake.
This section is significantly more challenging, with rocky and muddy paths and sections that require careful footing.
The views of the glacier are a true reward – but make sure you're well prepared!
