Pažaislis Monastery is a Baroque-style monastery complex located on a peninsula in Kaunas Reservoir, about 10 km from Kaunas city center. The complex was built in the 17th century and is considered one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture in Lithuania. It includes a monastery, a church, a bell tower, and other buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens and parkland. The monastery and church have been restored and now serve as a concert venue during the summer months, hosting many cultural events and music festivals. The Pažaislis Monastery is an important historical and cultural landmark in Lithuania and attracts many visitors each year.
