Nice to know:

Capital: Valletta

Currency: Euro (EUR)
Language: Maltese and English
Fact: Malta is a very flat country. The highest elevation is just 253 meters high

Best time to visit:

May to October

During spring and autumn, when the weather is mild and pleasant and the island is less crowded. Summer is ideal for beach holidays, but is also peak season, so be prepared for higher prices and crowds

How to get around:

For flexibility and to explore the island, a rental car is highly recommended and the best way to discover the island. For easy transportation in cities and to sights, I recommend public buses, Uber or taxis. For traveling between the islands, you can use the ferries, which are a good and inexpensive option.
