Moroccan Teahouse 1112 is a beautifully restored traditional Riad in the heart of Marrakech’s Medina, located near the Ben Youssef area. It’s designed as a refined tea house experience where Moroccan tea culture is presented in a modern, elegant setting while still keeping strong ties to history and architecture.
The space feels like a hidden oasis: a central courtyard with lush greenery, orange trees, and calm seating areas that contrast strongly with the busy souks just outside. Inside, you’ll also find a small “tea museum” style element that highlights Moroccan tea traditions and regional varieties.
The concept is centered around tea tasting experiences from different regions of Morocco, often paired with pastries, light dishes or curated menus. It’s more than just a café - it’s a slow, atmospheric experience built around ritual, presentation and relaxation.
Despite being peaceful inside, the place can get very busy due to its popularity, especially during peak hours, when waiting times can occur before getting a table.
