The Mausoleum of Mohammed V is one of the most important royal monuments in Morocco, located in the heart of Rabat’s historic complex next to the Hassan Tower. It is the final resting place of King Mohammed V and his two sons, King Hassan II’s brothers.

The building is a masterpiece of modern Moroccan architecture, combining traditional craftsmanship with a refined, ceremonial design. Its exterior is marked by white marble, green tiled roofs, and intricate decorative details that reflect Moroccan royal aesthetics.

Inside, the atmosphere is quiet, respectful, and highly symbolic. The tomb chamber is richly decorated with zellige tiles, carved cedar wood, and a stunning chandelier above the central marble sarcophagus. Royal guards in traditional uniforms stand watch, adding to the ceremonial feeling of the site.
