Butrint National Park is one of the most important archaeological and natural sites in Albania, located near Ksamil. It combines ancient ruins with a lagoon landscape, creating a unique setting where history and nature overlap.

The site includes remains from Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Venetian periods, such as an amphitheater, basilica, city walls and mosaics. Around the ruins, you’ll find wetlands, forests, and canals that are part of a protected ecosystem.
