ANIMA by Austrian artist André Heller is one of the most unique and visually impressive places around Marrakech - a surreal mix of botanical garden, open-air art exhibition and peaceful oasis located on the Route de l’Ourika at the foot of the Atlas Mountains.

The garden combines exotic plants, palm trees, bamboo forests, cactus gardens, water features and contemporary art installations into a highly curated and almost dreamlike landscape. Everywhere you walk, hidden sculptures, giant mosaic heads, colorful artworks and unexpected details appear between the greenery.

There’s also a café/restaurant on-site, shaded relaxation areas, hammocks, small exhibition spaces and panoramic terraces overlooking the mountains.
