You can't leave Budapest without trying a real Hungarian lángos, and this is the place to do it. Tucked away near St. Stephen's Basilica, this spot serves up the city's famous deep-fried dough with every topping imaginable, from the classic sour cream and cheese to more adventurous combinations. It's a casual, walk-up joint with a buzzing atmosphere, perfect for a quick, delicious, and truly local bite while you're exploring downtown.

Good to know: Order at the counter, then grab a table if available. Portions are filling.

This place is super popular and definitely a fun Budapest food stop, especially if it’s your first time trying lángos. But to be honest: many locals consider it a bit touristy and overpriced compared to more traditional market or underpass lángos spots.
