The Pyramid of Tirana has been completely revitalized and reimagined - no longer just a decaying concrete relic, it now functions as a dynamic cultural hub in the heart of Albania’s capital. Originally built in 1988 as a museum dedicated to the communist leader Enver Hoxha, it spent decades in various uses and disrepair before an ambitious renovation was completed in 2023. Today, the structure keeps its iconic shape but opens inward and outward with added stairways along its slopes, colorful modular boxes, open galleries, cafés, studios, public spaces and educational facilities. It’s part park, part creative campus and part social meeting point, blending history with contemporary city life.
