The museum is carved inside a genuine Cold War‑era bunker that once served the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and its exhibits walk you through the rise of communism, the secret police (Sigurimi), and the oppressive reality many Albanians lived under until 1991. The atmosphere is intense, partly because of the underground corridors and tight spaces, but that also makes the experience very immersive and memorable.
