Bahia Palace is one of Marrakech’s most beautiful historical landmarks and a stunning example of traditional Moroccan architecture. Built in the late 19th century, the palace was designed to showcase wealth, craftsmanship, and luxury, with peaceful courtyards, carved cedar wood ceilings, colorful zellige tiles, and intricate stucco details throughout the complex.

Walking through the rooms and gardens gives you a glimpse into the lifestyle of Morocco’s former elite, while the open courtyards filled with orange trees and fountains create a calm atmosphere away from the busy Medina streets outside.

One of the highlights is simply observing the incredible detail in every space - from geometric mosaics to hand-painted wooden ceilings. The architecture feels refined rather than overwhelming, making it one of the most photogenic places in Marrakech.
