Tirana International Airport is Albania’s main gateway and the primary entry point for most international travelers. It’s located about 20–30 minutes from Tirana city center, depending on traffic.

The airport itself is relatively small but modern and easy to navigate. You’ll find the essentials - cafés, car rental desks, ATMs and a few shops - but don’t expect a large international airport experience.

Transport connections are straightforward: taxis are widely available, there’s a shuttle bus to Tirana and car rental is very common for exploring the country.
