Come see a tradition that stretches back centuries along Gozo's northern coast. You can stroll right up to the incredible chequerboard of salt pans carved into the limestone, a landscape that feels both ancient and otherworldly. It's a beautiful walk along the sea, and if you visit between May and September, you might even see the locals harvesting the salt crystals using the same methods their families have for generations. Don't forget to pick up a bag of the famous sea salt from the small shops carved into the nearby rock.
