The Old Bazaar of Kruja is a historic market street located just below Kruja Castle. It’s one of the most atmospheric bazaars in Albania, filled with small wooden shops selling traditional crafts, souvenirs, carpets and handmade goods.

The street itself is cobblestoned and lined with Ottoman-style architecture, which makes the whole area feel like a step back in time. You’ll find local artisans, small cafés and plenty of shops offering items inspired by Albanian heritage.

My honest opinion: this is a touristy but still charming stop. Yes, it’s clearly designed for visitors, but the setting is genuinely beautiful and worth walking through. It’s especially nice when combined with the castle visit - together they form the full Kruja experience.
