Qafa e Pazarit is the historic bazaar district of Gjirokastër, located in the lower part of the old town. It’s a beautifully preserved Ottoman-era market street made of stone buildings, archways, and narrow cobbled lanes filled with cafés, small shops and restaurants.

The area has a very atmospheric feel, especially in the early morning or evening when the light hits the stone streets and the city becomes quieter. Today, it’s more of a social and tourist hub than a traditional market, but it still keeps its historic charm.
