Horror Movie Set in the Desert

Just off the main highway near Ouarzazate, you'll find a surreal slice of Americana that's delightfully out of place in the Moroccan desert. This is the actual, abandoned film set for the 2006 horror movie 'The Hills Have Eyes', and it's a fantastic, slightly spooky spot to stretch your legs and grab some unique photos. You can wander freely around the dilapidated, American-style gas station and diner, complete with rusty, weathered cars and other props left exactly as they were when the cameras stopped rolling.
