The Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma, commonly known as La Seu, is Mallorca’s most iconic landmark. The impressive Gothic cathedral rises directly above the waterfront of Palma and dominates the city skyline.

Built between the 13th and 17th centuries, it features one of the largest rose windows in the world and a beautifully designed interior, including elements redesigned by Antoni Gaudí. The cathedral’s location next to the Parc de la Mar makes it one of the most photographed spots in the city.

One of the highlights is the rooftop terrace tour, where you can walk along the cathedral’s terraces and see the bell tower, flying buttresses, and panoramic views over Palma, the harbor, and the Mediterranean Sea.

The rooftop terraces are seasonal and places are limited, so booking in advance is recommended.

Price: Cathedral + rooftop terraces - about €25

Tip: Walk around the Parc de la Mar afterwards for the best photo views of the cathedral.
