It's a roughly 20-minute walk to the top along paved paths and stairs, with plenty of scenic spots to catch your breath and admire the Danube along the way. Once you reach the summit, you're rewarded with a stunning panorama of the entire city unfolding below. While the Citadel fortress at the very top has been closed for renovations, the incredible vistas from the surrounding viewpoints make the gentle climb absolutely worth it, especially for that magical sunset or sunrise photo.
