Gjipe Beach is one of the most iconic beaches on the Albanian Riviera, located between Dhërmi and Himarë. It sits at the end of a dramatic canyon where a short hike leads you down to a secluded stretch of white pebbles and crystal-clear water.

The walk to reach it takes around 30 minutes from the parking area and adds to the feeling of discovery. The beach itself is surrounded by high cliffs, giving it a very wild and scenic atmosphere compared to more developed beaches nearby.

My honest opinion: this is a beautiful beach and absolutely worth the effort, but it’s not always peaceful. In peak season, it can become quite busy and is often used for camping and tents, which changes the vibe a lot. If you go outside peak summer, it feels much more special and relaxed.
