The Akchour Waterfall Trail Start is the main access point to one of Morocco’s most beautiful hiking routes. Located in the small village of Akchour near Chefchaouen, this is where the adventure into the Talassemtane National Park begins.

From here, the trail follows the river deep into a green canyon landscape, surrounded by mountains, cliffs and dense vegetation.

This is also where you’ll find small parking areas, local vendors and sometimes guides offering their services. It’s the last “organized” point before the trail becomes fully natural and immersive.
