Place Seffarine is one of the most authentic and atmospheric squares inside the old medina of Fes. Known for its traditional metalworkers, the square is filled with the constant sound of hammering as artisans shape copper and brass by hand using techniques passed down for generations.

The area feels raw, busy and deeply connected to the city’s craft culture. Small workshops line the square, and you can watch craftsmen working just a few steps away from historic buildings, fountains and madrasas.
