Dar Rbatia is one of Rabat’s best-known traditional Moroccan restaurants, located deep inside the Medina in the historic Sidi Fateh district. Opened in 1989 inside an 18th-century house, the restaurant combines authentic Moroccan cuisine with a beautifully restored Riad setting full of traditional craftsmanship and atmosphere.

The interior feels elegant and classic, with carved wood ceilings, zellige tiles, chandeliers, arches and multiple salon-style dining rooms surrounding a central courtyard. Dining here feels more like visiting a historic Moroccan home than a modern restaurant.

Here you can savor authentic, time-honored recipes like savory tagines and delicate pastillas. It's a full culinary experience, with set menus that let you taste a bit of everything, making it perfect for a memorable evening filled with rich flavors and warm hospitality.

  • Reservation recommended for evenings

  • Come hungry - portions are very generous
