Jigokudani Yaen Kōen, also known as the Snow Monkey Park, is a unique spot in Nagano, Japan, where wild Japanese macaques enjoy soaking in Onsen - hot springs. Nestled in a valley with steep cliffs and steamy springs, it's like a paradise for these monkeys despite the snowy winters.
If you are in the area this is definitely worth a stop. Just be aware to wear sturdy shoes as in winters the "hike" there can be a bit icy. It's about 1.6km (30min) one way to reach the park. https://getyourguide.tp.st/WHprI7z8
