Iceland
Welcome to Iceland
First, we want to say thank you so much for trusting us to help you plan your bucketlist trip to Iceland! We’re so excited for you! This country completely exceeded every expectation we had, and we truly believe it’s one of the most surreal places you’ll ever experience.
If you ever have questions while planning or even during your trip, please feel free to DM us on Instagram, email us, or message us directly on here. We're always happy to help :)
One of the main reasons we built this guide on this platform is so you’ll always have access to the most updated version. As Iceland continues to grow and change, we’ll be adding new spots, updated tips, and itinerary adjustments here.
And if there’s something you wish this guide included, let us know. We’re always looking for ways to make this as helpful and complete as possible for you.
How to Use This Guide
The itineraries in this guide are designed to help you experience the best of Iceland in a logical and efficient way. Everyone travels a little differently, so feel free to move things around, skip stops, or slow the pace down or speed it up to match your style.
You’ll also find interactive pins throughout the map, which makes it easy to visualize each stop, plan your driving days, and even build your own custom route if you prefer more flexibility.
If none of the itineraries feel like the perfect fit for your trip, we’re more than happy to create a custom itinerary tailored specifically to your travel dates, interests, and pace.
Also, we have tested the AI on Rexby, and it is amazing, so you can definitely make good use of it! For example, if you have questions about how to get to and from somewhere, it will give you all the details. Even in the highlands, it will tell you which routes to take, if there are river crossings, what kind of car you need, alternative routes, and just about everything else you might want to know!
A Quick Tip On Flights
If your schedule allows, we highly recommend arriving in Iceland as early in the day as possible and choosing a later departure flight on your final day. If you're flying from the U.S., there are a lot of redeye options available that will get you to Iceland between 5am-6am.
This gives you:
• More usable time on your first day
• Less rushed sightseeing
• Flexibility in case of weather changes
• And often the chance to fit in one last stop before heading to the airport
Even a few extra hours can make a big difference on an Iceland itinerary.
You’re officially ready to start planning!
