Osaka, Japan

If you were to visit a local or artisan coffee shop in Osaka you can expect to pay between 650 - 750 yen ($4.5 - $5.00 USD ) for a cafe latte.

Whilst not exactly cheap the prices are similar to prices charged for espresso style coffee in other south east asian countries such as Korea and Singapore.

The small artisan coffee shops in Osaka take their coffee very seriously, often sourcing and roasting their own beans. Staff are also expertly trained to brew the perfect cup of espresso.
