One of the best ways to experience Copenhagen is along the canals on a boat. And my favourite way to do this is to rent a private boat.

In the warmer months canals come alive and one of the best places to be in Copenhagen is on the water. These boats are easy to drive, and close to main Copenhagen attractions. Just bring along some snacks and drinks and enjoy the city like the locals do!

If you don't want to rent your own boat, I've also recommended a boat tour in a separate tip. Either way, you can't miss seeing Copenhagen from the water!
