One of my absolute favorite places to swim and explore is the beautiful beach at Sandön. You can easily walk here from Sandhamn in about 20 minutes.

It’s the perfect place to relax, soak up the sun, have a picnic, or take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water. Make sure to visit both beaches — Stora Trouville and Lilla Trouville — which are located just opposite each other.

A visit here is a must when exploring Sandhamn — it’s definitely my favorite beach in the Stockholm area!

How to get to Sandön (The island where Sandhamn is located)?

• Take the short ferry from Stävsnas to Sandhamn with Waxholmsbolaget. First, take the bus from Slussen to Stävsnas, where you board the 1-hour ferry to Sandhamn.
