Located steps from the Rialto Market, Mascari is a historic gourmet shop with a refined wine selection. Youāll find everything from crisp Friulano to high-end Barolo. The staff is knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is quietly elegantāideal for a gift bottle or something special for your evening in.

Forget labels. Venetians have been filling up reusable bottles with everyday table wine for generationsāsfuso means āloose,ā and itās poured straight from the barrel. Itās cheap, sustainable, and often shockingly good.

An old-school wine shop in a quiet corner near San Francesco della Vigna. Expect locals lining up with empty jugs and a rotating selection of house red and white.

Tucked away on Canareggio, this shop sells wine by the liter in jars or refillable bottles. Itās a neighbourhood favourite, with friendly owners and a zero-waste approach.

This is where natural wine lovers go. Not exactly a sfusi spot, but a curated selection of organic and biodynamic wines available by the glassāor to take away.

Set in a peaceful campo far from the crowds, Al Prosecco serves up natural and unfiltered wines, especially col fondo prosecco. No wine on tap here, but worth a visit if you're into clean farming and complex bottles.
