Faro di Murano is a lighthouse located on the southern part of Murano island in the Venetian Lagoon. Originally built in 1912, it replaced an older wooden tower used during the time of the Venetian Republic. Designed by engineer Mario Moro, the current lighthouse is made of Istrian stone and features two bas-reliefs of Madonnas. Today, it operates on electricity and is managed by the Italian Navy. Visitors can easily reach Faro di Murano by waterbus, making it a convenient stop to explore this charming island.
