What to bring to an American Southwest adventure
As you will read in some of the 'Things to do' - GPS is not great in some of the remote areas of the parks. It's best to download offline maps in advance or carry paper maps with you.
Good hiking boots and hiking socks are important, especially for some of the more challenging hikes. I love Danner boots or Columbia Newtown Ridge boots as a more budget friendly option and Darn Tough hiking socks.
Plenty of water and sunscreen, even if you go during 'not too hot season' - I've got burnt in Utah and Arizona even in November before.
