A national symbol of Georgia, Kartlis Deda is a twenty-meter tall aluminium sculpture of a woman in traditional Georgian attire. Mother of Georgia symbolizes the Georgian character: in her left hand she holds a bowl of wine to great those who come as friends and in her right hand a sword for those who come as enemies.
