This garden is a peaceful jewel nestled next to the Yoshikigawa River in Nara. Once part of Kokufu-ji temple, this charming garden opened to the public in 1989. It showcases three different styles of gardens in one compact space: pond garde, moss garden and tea-flower garden. It is open daily and free. It's a less crowded and beautoful complement nearby Todaiji (the Great Buddha) and Kokufu-ji.
