Miyazaki-jingu Shrine is a magnificent forest shrine located in Miyazaki, dedicated to Japan's first emperor. It features three shrines and several vermilion torii gates on its lush, forested approach perfect for taking photos. Visitors can explore the three shrines while walking through the tranquil woods, as well as visit the war artifacts museum at Gokoku-jinja Shrine. Gosho Inari-jinja Shrine is a highlight, with its vermilion gates that are said to bring good luck to business. Those who find themselves spiritually reinvigorated can make it a day trip and combine it with a visit to Aoshima-jinja Shrine.
