Assiniboine Provincial Park is an incredibly beautiful park with endless trails to discover! Before you plan a trip here, you will have to book this a couple months in advance (2 months before you arrive) or you can try to get a walk-up permit on the day of, but these are hard to get. You have two ways of getting into the park—you can hike approx. 52km roundtrip to the campground (we took Wonder Pass) or take a helicopter ($150 CAD each way per person). There are a few different campgrounds, but we suggest camping at Magog Lake or staying at the cabins there. We’ve included links to book the campgrounds, cabins and helicopter rides below!
