Sanur is a popular beach town vibe spot on the East side of South Bali, on the other side of Denpasar to Kuta, Seminyak, “The Canggu Area” etc. It’s much more calm than the West side, with a very long promenade and cycle bath along the beach, with cafes/restaurants, hotels and shops etc all alongside it, and a white sand beach. It’s very peaceful, and the ability to walk or cycle so easily there is unlike anywhere else in Bali. It’s been popular amongst families and the slightly older generation, but it’s starting to develop a lot more now, with the Icon Mall having recently been built. It’s definitely worth a visit, and those just looking for a very chill vibe might find it absolutely idilliic.

It’s also a great place to watch the sun rise due to being on the east coast! Not the best for the sunset though! 😅
