The Pinacoteca di Brera, located in the Palazzo Brera in the heart of Milan, has been welcoming visitors since 1809 and is today one of Italy’s most prestigious art museums. With its magnificent masterpieces from past centuries, the museum offers an extraordinary journey through time, giving insight into the works of some of the greatest Italian artists. The vast collection includes paintings, sculptures and ancient artifacts from different eras such as Renaissance, Baroque, Mannerism, and neoclassicism. There are also special exhibitions, events and activities which give visitors the chance to explore the museum in a fun and interactive way. Visiting the Pinacoteca di Brera is the perfect way to discover the history and culture of Italy like never before.

The adult ticket is €15, though there are reduced tickets or free tickets for some categories of people. It's free for all the first sunday of the month, but it's likely you'll have to queue a little.
