Agriturismo Terrarossa is a farmhouse located in the Valdichiana Valley, near Valiano and just 16 km from Montepulciano. I recently stayed here during my trip to Tuscany, and it was the perfect place for my trip

To reach this hotel, you'll need a car, which, by the way, is also highly recommended for visiting nearby towns easily and without hassle.

Agriturismo Terrarossa is an excellent choice if you're looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful, yet surrounded by beautiful nature. The property is nestled among vineyards and the stunning Tuscan hills.

I was truly impressed by the beauty of the surrounding area, and I especially loved being able to walk freely through the vineyards. It was a first-time experience for me, and I really enjoyed it!

As for the accommodations, they offer several apartments, each equipped with a fully functioning kitchen. There’s no on-site restaurant, but the kitchen is perfect if you plan to stay in for the evening.

The apartment I stayed in was for four people, as I visited with my family, and it was spacious enough for all of us. The view from the room was incredible; it honestly looked like a painting.

The hotel also has a pool, though unfortunately it was too cold to use during my stay.

To be honest, I initially thought this place might be a scam because the price was so low compared to other options in the area. But I was happily proven wrong, it’s just incredibly affordable. One night for four people cost only €130 (€32.50 per person). For comparison other places were €250/300 a night for 4 people.

I would absolutely come back here. I had a great time and loved both the hotel and the surrounding area. Even though it’s not centrally located to many popular destinations, it’s only about a 20-minute extra drive, which isn’t much. You’ll probably save some money compared to staying in Val d'Orcia, and you’ll get to enjoy the beauty of the Tuscan hills in a peaceful, private setting.
