The Discesa dei 200 Passi, the only way I could find to name it, but look at the exact location on the map. It's a spot located between Villa Cipressi and Villa Monastero in Varenna. You'll find a sign saying "200 steps to a romantic view" and if you're wondering to go or not, I did and loved this spot.

It's a beautiful place to sit by the lake, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenary in front of you. I went here to eat my sandwich as it was one of the emptiest spots I could find in Varenna.

By the way, I don't think they are 200 steps, haven't counted them though. But from the sign to reach the water it will take you less than a couple of minutes.
