This is one of the iconic little huts in Switzerland in the middle of the mysterious canton Uri. The hut lies just at the foot of the Sidelenglacier. There is a parking on the Furkastrasse and you can follow from there the hiking path indicated towards the hut. The hike takes just about 45-60 min and it's truly worth to sleep in the hut. Make sure to book early enough in advance. Not only the sunset is magic and illuminates the sharp rock peaks in red, the sunrise will also reward you with unforgettable views.
