The Torre Arcobaleno, also known as the Rainbow Tower, was born in 1990 (on the occasion of the 1990 World Cup in Italy) as a vibrant transformation of an old grey water tower into a colorful urban landmark in Milan. With its polychrome ceramic covering and symbolic value, the tower stands out as a testament to the city's design creativity. Through a collaborative effort involving skilled professionals and sponsors like Marazzi Ceramiche and Mapei, the tower underwent a restoration in 2015 (on the occasion of Expo), further enhancing its visual impact and becoming a 14-color symbol of urban renewal.

It is possible to access it only one day a year, in the month of May, on the occasion of OpenHouse Milano.

It is however clearly visible both from the Milano Garibaldi Station and from the Cavalcavia Bussa where there is the best view, especially at sunset.
