The Eyvindarholt DC-3 Airplane Wreckage in Iceland is a lesser-known but fascinating site near the popular Seljalandsfoss waterfall. The wreckage was moved to Eyvindarholt after being a tourist attraction at Sauðanes farm. This iconic aircraft, a Douglas DC-3, crashed in 1969 during a landing gone wrong, but luckily, no one was hurt. Visitors can easily access the site from Road 1 and enjoy exploring this piece of aviation history in a beautiful Icelandic setting.
