Hanakapiai Falls is a stunning 300-ft waterfall tucked away in the lush Na Pali region of Kauai. To reach this hidden gem, hikers must trek two miles through rugged terrain, crossing streams and passing mountain apple trees and bamboo forests along the way. The journey can take up to two hours one way, but the reward of a refreshing dip in the pool at the base of the falls makes it all worth it. Just be sure to pack rain gear and plenty of water, and use caution when crossing the stream, especially after heavy rains.
