đ
Best for: Scenic hiking, panoramic viewpoints, seeing Percé Rock from above
â±ïž Distance: ~10 km (shorter options available)
â°ïž Time: ~3 hours for the full loop
đĄ Tip: Bring good trail shoes + snacks, and choose your route based on the viewpoints you want to see
During our GaspĂ©sie trip, we hiked Mont Sainte-Anne in PercĂ© â and it turned out to be a rewarding viewpoint. The hike is super flexible: you can choose a shorter route if you only want to reach the main lookout, or do the full ~10 km loop like we did to explore everything.
Along the way, youâll pass by several highlights, including unique rock formations, forested paths, and open viewpoints. The final lookout is absolutely stunning â you get a postcard-perfect view of PercĂ© Rock, the town, and the entire coastline. On the other side of the summit, youâre treated to wide open views of the rolling hills and the ocean stretching into the distance.
The trail is doable in a morning or afternoon depending on your schedule, and itâs not too technical, but Iâd still recommend good shoes and a few snacks to enjoy at the top. Itâs the perfect hike if you want a mix of effort, great scenery, and a big payoff at the summit.
