A Perfect Park for a Micro-Adventure
La Mauricie National Park is one of those places that truly has it all. Managed by Parks Canada, it’s a vast protected area of lakes, forests, and rolling hills — perfect for anyone who loves being outdoors.
In summer, you can explore numerous hiking trails, go cycling, or try canoe camping across the park’s calm lakes and islands. It’s a great way to disconnect for a weekend and enjoy the peaceful nature all around.
During winter, the park stays open and transforms into a snowy playground. There are over 70 km of marked cross-country ski trails, both classic and freestyle, suitable for all levels. You can also do winter hikes and even stay overnight in one of the oTENTik tents for a cozy camping experience.
Whether you come for a day trip or a short getaway, La Mauricie National Park is an ideal spot for a micro adventure — close enough to reach easily, but far enough to feel completely surrounded by nature. ❄️🛶
